Olexiy Solohubenko, BBC World Service’s regional executive editor, Americas & Europe, received an award of thanks from HRH Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg for giving precious airtime to his grandmother, Grand Duchess Charlotte. Attending the premiere for Charlotte: A Royal at War, Mr Solohubenko said: “For the BBC, this represents a poignant reminder of what our organisation represented to an oppressed people during the days of danger and uncertainty. It stands for what the BBC continues to represent around the globe today: a voice of truth and objectivity, of clarity and trust.“
