** WINNER OF BEST DOCUMENTARY IN THE CMC ANDREW CROSS AWARDS 2006 **
Hunting My Husband's Killers - the story of Scottish community nurse Lesley Bilinda as she sets out to discover how her Rwandan husband Charles died during the 1994 genocide. The film gives a personal insight into events surrounding the genocide - and reflects on the huge challenges Lesley faces, set in the drama of an unfolding investigation. Hunting My Husband's Killers is a hard-hitting, emotional journey to confront the face of evil - and come to terms with lost love. In this highly candid film, Lesley discovers some unpalatable, hidden truths about Charles. At a high-security prison she questions a killer - and feels the horror of a nation's grief, through her own personal tragedy. Our current directors' cut runs around 54 minutes, shot in Scotland and Rwanda, during the 10th Anniversary of the genocide. There are strong themes of betrayal and forgiveness. A co-production with Purple Flame Media.
Hunting My Husband's Killers is available as a 2-disc DVD Special Edition boxset. To buy click here.
